A healthy tree, more and better fruit
A fruit tree does not need much, but with the right care you help it grow healthily and develop plenty of fruit. Give young trees enough water during dry periods and keep the ground around the trunk as free of weeds as possible.
Supervise branches
The position of the branches also plays a role in the development of fruit. By gently allowing young, flexible branches to grow more horizontally, the formation of fruit wood is stimulated.
You can gradually bend the branches downward by carefully tying them down or weighing them down with light weights. Do this gradually so that the branches do not get damaged.
A little attention at the right time helps your fruit tree grow into a nice shape and bear fruit more abundantly.
